Bonemasters Europe is excited to be sponsoring the Superyacht Chefs’ & Superyacht Table Setting Virtual Competition- hosted by Amandine International Chef Placement!
About the event:
Normally at this time of year chefs are flexing their culinary muscles at the MYBA Show Chefs’ Competition in Barcelona. However, since the show is sadly not going ahead as usual we’ve decided to run a different type of Competition – a virtual one.
The theme is HEROES – to celebrate all the medical and front line workers across the world and all money raised will be donated to the charity Action Against Hunger’s COVID-19 RELIEF FUND. Chefs must cook one dish that celebrates their favourite hero – real or fictional.
A judging panel of industry experts will be judging the presentation and creativity of the dishes including how well the theme of heroes has been interpreted. For those chefs entering who are currently working on board a yacht we will be asking senior crew to judge the taste. Obviously the crew be biased but hey – we can’t bring the judging panel to you on board so this is the next best thing

The Cause
URGENT CORONAVIRUS APPEAL Since we are trying to raise money for a good cause, we are asking all the chefs / yachts that wish to enter the competition to make a donation to Action Against Hunger’s Covid-19 Appeal Fund.
It is not compulsory and you can enter the competition without making a donation but we would obviously rather if you did! Please click here to make a donation and to find out more about the great work this charity is doing to help the worlds most vulnerable people impacted by Covid19.

HOW IT WORKS:
In order for your plate of food to be judged, you must post video footage and specific photographs (see next slide for further details) onto the Yacht Chef Competition Facebook Group BEFORE FRIDAY 15th MAY.
